Plot
Did you ever wonder what the world would be like if humans were not at the top of the food chain? Did you ever think, what if Atlantis, Shangri-La, and Arcadia were real and never fell? However, when Sophie Foster encountered a boy by the name of Fitz Vacker, out of all the pressing questions in the vast universe, the one question going through her mind was, Am I really human? Twelve-year old Sophie Foster has a secret. A secret that can not be exposed. She is a Telepath, one who has the unique ability to hear the thoughts of everyone around them. She has no clue as how to explain this ability, and due to that she has become an outcast, even in her own family. These blaring thoughts cause Sophie seething pain, like shards of glass destroying her from the inside out. She wants them to stop. Then she meets a boy, one with the same ability as her. She discovers a place where she does belong, but at the price of leaving behind everything else. All goes well, and she starts to adjust to her new life. She has new rules to follow and new skills to learn, but not everyone is thrilled with her arrival. She will soon discover her paradise is not as it seems, for there are enemies in the shadows willing to kill for the long buried secrets she holds. Secrets she does not even know herself.
Review
From the moment I read the first page, I already knew, this book is good. I kept reading, page after page, chapter after chapter. I soon realized, I could keep reading this forever. It became my favorite book. I remember a certain part in the story I extremely liked. It was right when the protagonist was in deepest despair. And while that section might seem like the worst part of the story, the author includes so much detail that it almost feels real and absolutely relatable. Elaborate detail on the characters' emotions, the setting, and so many different unexpected twists kept me reading and reading. I remember finishing the entire book in a single day. As I look back on it now, the book's messages are very clear if you search for them. Since the book is very long, it has more than one message. One such message is that change comes whether you like it or not, so embrace it. I honestly see no problems with this book except that you finish it to quickly, make it longer! I give this book a complete 10/10 and highly recommend this book for all fantasy fans.

Amazing review! I loved reading your detailed description of the plot as well as why it became your favorite book. It sounds like a very interesting story and judging from your positive review, I definitely need to add this to my reading list!
